O Jesus, meek and humble of heart, who were pleased to grant to Mother María de San José (Salazar), illustrious Discalced Carmelite, faithful daughter and companion of St. Teresa, the grace to be humble and patient in sufferings. Grant that the example of her life may stir up in me a spirit of true humility and patience, and of all the virtues.

Please grant me, through her intercession, the grace I now ask. You who live and reign with the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever. Amen.
